August 2024 Block Lotto - Kindness Always block

This months block came from a free pattern from Riley Blake Fabrics.  The pattern is called Kindness Always.  I really like how pretty it is, but even more I liked how many options you have to make it​  The pattern is the same block for the entire quilt, of course mixing the fabric choices.

• Follow the pattern instructions and use precuts.  Jelly roll strips are sewn together and cut to make 2-1/2 inch wide strips.  Add a precut 5 inch square to the center, and there you go!
• OR use your scraps to piece it by square.  It uses 2-1/2 inch squares and the 5 inch square in the middle.

ENTER THE BLOCK LOTTO:
To enter the August Block Lotto, make 1 block to submit.  Only 1 entry per member.

• Colors: scrappy or precuts. Any colors. Light background.
• Blocks submitted should be 12-1/2" by 12-1/2 inch unfinished.
• Mail to Ann Nolen at 1007 Baird Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95409. Include your name and email.  Ann will contact you by email for your mailing address if you win.
• Deadline to be received by Ann is Saturday, Sept 7th, 2024. Drawing to be done at our Zoom meeting on Monday, Sept 9th.

This is a pattern to make a quilt using Jelly Roll strips (2-1/2 inch strip set), and a Charm pack (5 inch squares). Go ahead, make a quilt too. (PS - you can easily use scraps to make this as well)
