The friendship block is easy to make, and has a rich history for quilters. The video below shows how to make it, as well as telling the interesting history of the block.

Cutting for one block - 12.5" unfinished/ 12" finished

• for the HSTs

2 - 5" squares (background fabric) 2 - 5" squares (print fabric)

• center square

1 - 4.5" square (print fabric)

• corners

4 - 4.5" squares (background fabric)
