July 2025 Block Lotto - Quarter Star

This star and the 4 quarters to make it is one of my favorite blocks.  I often play with the color and block placement to make something new.  Included here is written instructions and a video by Carol Thelen.
​If you submit a block lotto to Ann for the drawing, you only need to submit a quarter of the star.  Make it light and dark contrast for the two fabrics.  Have fun and the member that wins will be able to start a fun scrappy quilt.  
PS - Use the instructions for the 12-inch finished size, and the quarter of the star will be 6-1/2 by 6 1/2 unfinished. Each week I will post photos in our newsletter of some of my quilts using this block.
