This block is many quilters favorite star block, and for good reason. Quick and easy to make and you can make a few changes for the quick change in look.  Several ideas are mentioned at the end of the video... Per the tutorial, this is the fabric you need to cut for an 8 inch block
1 - 4.5" Square 
4 - 2.5" x 4.5" rectangles
4 - 2.5" squares
8 - 2.5" squares

IF YOU WANT TO SEND IN A BLOCK FOR OUR BLOCK LOTTO DRAWING ON MONDAY, JUNE 9TH --Please make it in Red & White like the video, with a dark blue center square.  Prints or solids ok.  Yes, Red, White, and Blue for the 4th of July Holiday!
