The Terrazzo quilt is quick to make, and a free tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt Company is also provided. You can use a layer cake (10-inch square packet) or cut your own 10" squares from your fabric stash. Watch the video below, with details on materials needed below that. By the way, they recommend a 10-inch square ruler to make this even easier to make. If you don't have one, you can use a larger ruler and use painters tape to temporarily mark the 10-inch lines for cutting.

I have used this many times when quilting. Painters tape comes in many widths and doesn't leave a residue on your fabric. It saves a lot of time and makes you look really good at your hobby.
