I always appreciate a free pattern, and especially from Diane Harris of StashBandit. I have taken a scrap workshop from her, and really appreciate her teaching style and useful patterns. This is a free pattern she shared a while back, but is perfect for Valentines Day next month. The pattern is small, but it would be easy to continue making the scrap blocks and making it whatever size you want.

I have had this tool for a while, so I appreciated this video showing 6 uses for the tool. Easy to understand and quick to refer back to if I need a refresher.
By the way, we have a Search Box on our Sidebar that makes finding any of our posts easy to find again later. Ann As quilters, it seems that we can never have enough blocks to use up our scraps. This is one block that uses strips, and they don't even have to be the same widths. I love the improv approach to them. This short video from You Tube shows the simple procedure, and you can go from there to whatever size looks good. Square, on point, or whatever fun you want to get into!
I just can't believe that Valentines Day is next month, time is flying by! I thought this heart quilt border was perfect for the season, and hearts are fun to add almost anytime. Everything you need to know is here in the video. Enjoy!
