This is a very clever tutorial. Reusable, reversible and easy to make with 10 inch pre-cuts or fabric cut to that size. What a beautiful way to give gifts and won't take much of your time.

This music video is to celebrate 50 years since the release of "Tapestry" by Carole King. I was a big fan of Carole King in the 70's and still own the album I purchased when it came out. In the background of this video are wonderful quilts from the Salt Creek Quilters Guild in Western Springs, Illinois. Their 2020 Quilt Challenge had the theme, Carole King, and the story gets really interesting on how it became part of the video. Read on below the video! And this is how it all happened! "As I announced at a guild meeting, I sent an email attaching the pdf of our Challenge Quilts to Mark Satlof who was a person I found on the internet listed as a Carole King contact. To my amazement Mark, who is in music public relations, emailed me within hours. He had forwarded the pdf to Sherry Kondor, Carole’s agent. They both loved our quilts and wanted my phone number! Sherry called me and asked if they could use some of our quilts in a video being produced to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Tapestry album. Sherry and her staff chose 11 quilts they felt represented what they were looking for... I have been working with Sherry’s assistant, Emily Gold coordinating everything. The quilts were shipped to California on Tuesday, January 19th. As soon as I have definitive information about how the quilts are being used I will share it with all of you. This is quite exciting for our guild!! PS: I looked up Sherry Kondor on the internet and lo and behold she is Sherry Goffin Kondor, Carole’s daughter."
